All I really have to bring to this discussion is that Doug Stanhope is not a very good comedian.

People rarely learn they’re divorcing via divorce papers. More realistically, this has been something they’ve been planning for awhile, and he was either aware she was done with the marriage or is maybe even as eager to get out of it as she was.

Yeah, this doesn’t surprise me. It sounds like they’ve been on the rocks for awhile, there’s been a lot of a rumors about his drinking, and it doesn’t seem like the relationship has been all that helpful for her career.
