Hilltop could feel a bit redundant after Woodbury - encountering a community, tensions, integration, etc., shake and repeat. But you need Hilltop to have Negan. I thought the comic kinda shuffled through places - Wodobury, Alexandria, Hilltop ... It'd be nice if they could avoid a 'wander into the next community'…

This piece made me think about DPRK putting more subs in the water, and your note made me recall the Cheonan — the ROK corvette that went down with 46 hands out of a crew of 104 after a sternside torpedo strike...

Kusanagiiiiiii!!!! It's an epic role. Shirow mixed Gibson's Molly Millions, the original mirroshades girl, with onna-bugeisha, traditional Japanese badass women warriors. (There's an early scene in Shirow's manga where she sips tea atop her mecha as cherry blossom petals swirl around her. I'll try to find it...)
