Technically players should “man up” and ignore the words. “Sticks and stones” and all that. When it comes to fan heckling, they are being compensated at a rate that is more than generous. So they could “shut up and dribble”.

While there should definitely be more done to hold disruptive fans accountable, “Shut up & dribble” is exactly what these men are being paid millions to do.
