I have only read Born Standing Up from this list, but I am definitely checking the rest out.  I was like who is Tony Hydra but when they mentioned the manager from Spinal Tap, I was instantly more focused!  That guy was the best character in spinal tap and that's saying something.

it really is. i had the exact same experience; I friend pushed it hard, i gave it a try but the controls were tedious and the plasmas system was confusing.  After a year i kept hearing it come up in conversation, especially at AV Club in discussion on Ayn Rand.  So I forced myself to give it a try and damn…really…
