the wiggler, the wiggler!
gonna find the bone zone in the meat suite.

i saw it one night when well munted and was completely enthralled by the sheer weirdness of the premise and how seriously the show takes itself.  I mean the scenes with violence are actually really, really well done.  the humor is so random, todd barry and all of the actors really pull their weight.

knock knock.

yes! I felt the same way when he shows up on parks.  He is still funny but the voice-scrambler truly is the "essence" of glazer.

@avclub-f121d09285898f1c66d66f1e6f0455a6:disqus , thanks for the update.  I myself did some research and found the same.  although there is apparently the tedious trick of burning a copy of the DVD and selecting region 1 for the copy even if its from another region.  I might try tonight with dvd shrink or handbrake.

yes i have.  but surely as a fellow nerd you must know that alternate timeline happiness is not the same thing.  I don't give two fiddlesticks about what goes down on earth2.

just wanted to say your pic/username made me go pull out true romance and watch again.

lucky bastard! I live in southern california and miss drive in's so much.  the only ones left are insanely crowded (I waited in a line of cars for 3 hours to see the simpsons movie; almost ran out of gas) and not well maintained.

AIN'T GOT TIME TO BLEED

all good points.  violence against a woman would be a last resort, but self preservation is DNA-encoded for all humans.  Some of us try to forget we can be reduced to savagery in minutes if the circumstances are right.

yup! seeing them get blowed up real good never makes me feel bad and always puts a hop in my step.  killing Nazi's in video games is the tops.  I love treyarch/call of duty for giving me so many venues and weapons for killing nazi's and nazi zombies.

holy shit, is that true, PS3's are region free?

@avclub-2586d0717b58d4f4383144ca1341d079:disqus , thanks for doing the thankless task of sharing details about your profession.  It seems like a lot of commenters are really hung up over the inequity of what you and Heisler are discussing: starting out is very difficult, not financially rewarding and you have a great

YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR ELEMENT DONNIE

very well said!

yeah, this prick is everything i hate about the internets.  sorry you had a rough day/year/life @sweetsadness:disqus , but this is a "hey, good to catch up with you, what's new?" type of community, not a "if you don't trim your tree branches I am taking you to small claims" community.  We already have a lovable

yup.  I played the fucking Whiskey and not only did they not pay us, we had to sell tickets or we couldnt play.  did we give a fuck? hell no.  the picture of my band's name on their marquee was a memory worth more than money.

"talent" indicates they are seasoned professionals, not some green-thumb.

thanks for adding, @avclub-0ff3ba9f65ff1b4865065698c39cfefa:disqus ! I literally haven't seen ANY of those movies, will have to check out.  but I have heard of 400 blows and Shoot the piano player, tom waits/lone audience who used to post here was a big fan and was always raving about those.

thanks, that is great motivation. I love me some music and there aren't many shows about musicians (the larry sanders show has some great musician episodes, FYI).  I'll pop it in next time I'm cleaning or playing with the cats.
