damn, tracy does conan, jack-tor and jack the writer are the three best episodes for jack ever.

Hey Lobsters, I have wanted to read Lovecraft for a while; any recommendations for where to start?  I have heard his writing is a little esoteric in style and he has a ton of material so I have just kept putting it off…

give this man (or LAYDEE) all the awards and a honey baked ham, post haste.

me too! I love the AV Club.  To me the best films on this list are:

wow, you really don't like this film.   Did your ex-wife send you a picture of her fucking your best friend with this flick playing in the background?

damn, those are a great combo.  Best Nicholson performances (for my money; yeah i know, choices not that original):

I saw it on a rainy day with my best friend and our ladies.  the rest of the theater was completely empty.  best time at the movies ever.

see it.  seriously, a great flick.  John Goodman is clearly having a blast, Joe Dante at his peak as a director.  The music is great, and like many others have said, it really nails being a kid.  plus it is about going to the movies, being forced to drag your kid brother along, getting your first kiss, hippie parents

what about the fact that no one ever cleans up the jizz, ever?  not the guy, not the gal, they just lie there in a puddle of sex pretending they just dry docked.  I'm no George Raft, but every girl i have ever taken to bed jumps the fuck up afterwards and lets gravity do its work, followed often by them going to pee.

see, that's why he is always scowling like he had three cups of espresso and a bran muffin and is nowhere near a toilet.  also he appears to stay up for a week before he shoots each scene so his eyes are baggy and greasy.  poor bastard; the most of us have to try and make ourselves more presentable - he has to ugly

oh it holds up, just fine.  Saw it in theaters when i was a youngin, watched in on netflix last year and I smiled the whole goddamn movie.

yell yeah, great lazy sunday movie or greatest?
liked for Mundt on Mant.

yeah, seeing it in your 20's, no good.  But when you are a lonely kid who wishes a tight-knit group of friends would bring you into their group, it is pretty fucking affecting.

i can't like this comment enough.  great dad story.  remembering all the times me and my bro went to rent vhs tapes with my dad makes me smile from ear to ear.

nice one, great little PI movie.

lol, yep, its the face he makes while he says 'friction'
incidentally, have you heard the WTF episode where Maron interviews Offerman and his wife Megan Mullaly?  Because they are such an awesome couple!  she is older than him, he was there when she blew up on Will&Grace and now she is watching his ascent as Effin

now you can finally enjoy Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey as it was meant to be seen!

yup! that was surprising, I was expecting the usual terrible characterization.  But if the guy who created freaks and geeks cant get it down, nobody in hollywood can.

hey what the hell are no-bake cookies? like no bake jello cheesecake?
BTW, proper thanks for mentioning Delirium Nocturnum/Delirium Tremens a few weeks ago, I got a bottle of Nocturnum and damn was it tasty.  They were out of Tremens so I gotta wait till they get more in stock.   my neighbor, an awesome elderly lesbian
