I really feel like Lost has ruined serialized television because people are more interested in the "clues" than in narrative. I know the sopranos pre-dates it, but it is the same mentality.

yeah @ARJ:disqus is right. It felt like self-inflicted torture to watch her scenes but the actress really nails that character. There are too many janices in the world and hopefully, at least a few will watch the sopranos, see the janice character and pour acid on their genitals.
