-The movie within a show was very poorly implemented/justified plot wise and stakes wise.
-The structure was more or less a retread of the S4 changnesia episode.
-The Jeff/Abed stuff was forced and hokey and felt shoehorned in at the 11th hour.
-Britta & Annie have been trading the same 1 joke over the last few episodes.

Commmunity 6x08

One of my favourite episodes TBH.

Good news if true. My main impression was that it needed at least an extra 1/2 hour, especially at the beginning and at one point in the middle.

Dianetics. I'd like to be able to focus on completing tasks but the people who try to get me to read it are all so pushy.

Why do these events have to be in competition with each other?

Well I'm Norman Rockwell cuz I raise a lot of hell
I love to make love to the jolly females
I'm down with the crew from off the hill
And I'm Pepper Busbee and I aim to please
I want my name to go down in history
I want to be greater than George Washington
Cuz I can nuke any city from sun to sun
And together, forever we're

B-but the Hunger Games…

In the meantime, Fiona Apple's streaming service "Reasonable Doubt" is catching on like wildfire.

I sort of already mentioned it on TOS, but this is totally a live-action, faith-based backdoor Akira prequel/remake.

Yikes.

Hard to say. The tone is definitely more serious throughout, but the battle scenes are just as fun (maybe more) than in the first film. Also, there is a lot of humour throughout (even from the titular vilain). It's definitely not as serious as the trailers. I would put it on a par with Winter Soldier (or maybe a shade

Well, in my experience, all the people I know who are happy/content and have their lives together are unfunny to an almost painful degree, but always think they are the funniest person in the room. Maybe it has something to do with constant validation?

OK. In that case, prepare to enjoy!

I won't lie: the film still ends on a semi-conclusive note. There is a sense of foreboding about what is yet to come, but it is still a complete story.

I Got to see Avengers 2 today.

Moving along from being consistently disappointed by Community, I would like to report that the Yahoo original series Other Space is quite the winner. After watching 5 episodes, I've really been enjoying the way the characters bounce off each other in various situations. For all of its sci-fi appearance, it really is

Miyazaki's son made the godawful "Earthsea" and the pretty good "Poppy Hill" .

Let's give him some examples. Troy, drop a beat.

I now dislike Community. I did not care for this episode at all, in spite of it being maybe the 2nd or 3rd best ep of the season. That's it. I have no thoughts to articulate because this show bores me. It is truly remarkable how it managed to negate the almost infinite supply of goodwill I had for it so quickly.
