Hmmm... Greenbriers are really rare. Is this thing worth restoring given it looks like a reasonably nice shell under all those bad mod?

I was deeply confused about that as well, but the ad explains it adequately. The old bed had to be replaced and he was still sourcing parts for a new one. In the mean time, he had kayaks to haul so the wooden bed was a short-term solution.

I would like to see this ranked per vehicle registered. I expect some weird cars would make the list.

I’ve ridden 3,000+ miles a year for 25+ years. I’ve been hit by one car - oddly it had stopped to turn left into a gas station, was literally making eye contact with me...and then turned right in front of me. Over the hood I went in a full front flip, miraculously unhurt. 1999, pre-cell phone era, so documentation and

I think the comment section reflects a struggle to factor in the effects of inflation...

First: I own a 2001 2.5 Z3 and think the cars are awesome - I bought a 1 owner car with 30K miles 2 years ago for a premium, but not this much.

That rabbit’s dynamite!

I once had a connection through Atlanta. A new history of Sherman’s March had come out and was widely available. I decided it would be perfect to buy that in Atlanta. Funny thing was although it was on the NY Times list, I could not find it in their rather large, otherwise well-stocked airport bookstore.

The Corona is gorgeous, I would be totally good with that generation of Supra, and I’m entirely convinced that Murple is what the Joker would drive if he drove a minivan.

There’s a reason most new developments in aerospace are iterative rather than groundbreaking. It’s simple - the stakes of failure are much higher with aircraft than with, say, a cell phone or even a car. I’m not sure if most people understand how incredibly complex a modern aircraft really is, so most new designs

I either eat nothing for 3 days, or everything all at once then feel more depressed.

Tell me you know nothing about how dementia works without saying so explicitly

While it might be heretical to suggest this with an automatic - I would probably be closely looking at the newest one of these available.  We have a 3 year old that LOVES driving - and would love it even more with the top down, and I’m half tempted to pick one up (they’re reasonably inexpensive around here) as a

“prefer something luxury-ish”

I was waiting for someone to mention the 3/4series bmw - plus you can get it with x drive (4 series anyway) so it’s a summer convertible or a winter coupe!

The IS250 Convertible always seemed like an attractive way to have a four-seat droptop:

Some lower cost models in Europe and other parts of the world have done this! https://jalopnik.com/the-dacia-sanderos-most-brilliant-feature-is-something-1846575345

Not only that, but people gotta eat, even if they’re depressed (or Just Feeling Bad). The idea isn’t “eat *because* you’re depressed”, it’s “easy things you can eat WHEN you’re depressed”.
