@Hunter2458: I just watched the first half of the Spain-Portugal and I can still hear the buzzing Vuvuzela in my ears.

@ninjamurf: Just one that's closer to the actual offside.

@Fire_For_Effect: Excellent comment, the errors are unforgivable at this level when the teams went trough so much to get there. I know a little controversy is like salt at the table and tech will probably be something too mechanical for this game. Probably hiring more line refs (instead of 2 to have 4) will be the way?

Or better yet, hire more refs and give money to the ppl: Right now with the field having two halves, a line ref in each half.

Awesome article. Too bad for the US but the qualifiers start in what, 2 years? Those games are interesting as well and it's a long and tough battle up to the point of playing in the World Cup.

Make sure the iPhone 4 is not touching the Server!

Nope, they lost the prototype so they couldn't test the unit for its reception.

Agree, wide angle shots look quite common and can't really tell any 3D advantage, just like watching the game from the stands.

Those replys are insulting!

Adam Carolla visionary all over again.

If this goes on, we'll see car horns being replaced by this sound.

@Live_free: $700 is less expensive than what it takes these days to get their company's logo across the interwebs.

@toxic: With features like that I'd guess around $20k

These seem to be modified short-range Vuvuzelas.

The referees were perfect up until the biggest blunder I've seen so far in any game! How in the farking game do you deny such a clear and perfect goal?!?!?!?!?!

I'd love to have a Vuvuzela showerhead that also dubs as an actual countdown timer.

Vuvuzelas have different tones?

@medopal the vuvuzela: yup, about $120 or so, even if you know the place, the replica can be had for $100 but haven't seen anything under yet. I guess the dealers are watching the behemoth in the making thus keeping the prices quite high.

@thedarkerside.to: Ouch, that's a given! Summer time in Africa's not usually associated with freezing conditions. No wonder all the female fans I've seen at the games so far were dressed like the Eskimos, some were even sportin vuvuzela ear muffs.
