So if I understand right, to put it in park you have to push the shifter all the way forward and then hold it there for a moment? If that’s true, I can understand how people may mistakenly put the vehicle in reverse if they’re in a hurry and not paying attention. It would seem they should have added one additional

It was a voluntary recall not government mandated. FCA got many similar reports of injuries that did happen due to human error. However, I think they decided that if a large percentage of people are having the same issue perhaps the design needed to be addressed. If someone were to be killed they could be held liable.

Now playing

I posted this in a previous thread also. It’s a video showing how the shifter in question works.

Do you even jetstream blue bro?

I’ll bet there’s a shitload of Jiffy Lube stories we’ve not heard about... a shitload.

Somebody cares at Ford. At least for the moment.

well you could always have this

If they sold the Ute in America I would buy one tomorrow. It’s all I want in a vehicle. Put a cap on it and you have a wagon that doesn’t have all sorts of stupid things like “back seats” and “upholstery”.

The likelihood of me ever owning a, say, Ferrari California, long wheelbase, is about as high as my owning a Ford GT, yet somehow that doesn’t diminish my lust for the things.

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline. For adults that have grown up past having to make a statement.

They could have saved themselves a bunch of money and bought Jalapnik from Gawker for pennies on the dollar at the fire sale when Denton and Gawker have to pay Hulk Hogan's penis its millions.

I love flood water. It hides the spike strips. I hardly ever get to use those.

Well Sean was the only reason for me to read LS in the first place. Gawker has already dumped half the writers I like - I’ll probably be here for DeMuro and Torch, but that’s about it.

So where is Sean?

As a 240Z, I can confirm all of the above statements.

You're right. It wasn't all that heavy. My apologies. But it was pretty big and heavy compared to the hypothetical Crosley I put behind it.
