This is what I always thought also.

I was gonna flag that post but can’t leave that great response orphaned.
OMG FUCK YES. The only appropriate way to do a show about super rich and famous actors and filmmakers giving each other fancy awards is to give zero fucks and roast the ever-loving fuck out of them.
I should explicitly mention the parallels of a masked vigilante group expending mob justice on their perceived enemies outside of the law and the KKK.
I think you missed the part where she/masked vigilantes/the (very racially integrated) police are not necessarily better morally than white supremacists.
I thought her coming in at the very end had a lot of impact.
“I drive better than your mom.”
I absolutely loved this. A perfectly fitting epilogue to one of the greatest dramatic series of the last several decades. Aaron Paul is a wildly underappreciated actor, and even with all its incredibly entertaining bells and whistles, he carries this entire film on his shoulders. I can’t wait to watch it again.
George wrote some great songs with The Beatles but his contributions have been overemphasized in recent years. He’s not even close to being on the same level as Lennon or McCartney as a songwriter.
Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (reprise) to be exact.
So now there are, what, 7 unfunny seasons of Archer that they shouldn’t have made?
They calculated that the Kiwis had a 2% chance of winning even before their innings had ended?
A silly noun in Cricket is when you say someone’s name whilst standing too close to them
It’s truly not that complicated! Like, I’m not an expert by any means, and I only watch once every 4 years or so, but yo, just watch a YouTube video explainer and you’ll get it. I could probably copy and paste this for a dozen more comments in this article, but here it is!
Personally I don’t care if he works with Christopher Nolan or Spielberg or whoever else you can name. The issue for me is that he will never not be The Rock. I don’t know how you can make movies with any kind of variance in the characters you play when you look like he does. And hey, if that’s what he’s going for,…
Arnold Schwarzenegger made plenty of shit films too, and he is clearly the model Johnson is patterning his career after. Is the contention that Johnson is forced to decline opportunities in daring arthouse cinema because he’s all locked up making Pain & Gain 2 with his best bud Michael Bay? I’m not seeing it.
Artists…
Sounds like a real snooze fest. His act is stale and dated.
Is that irony in the headline or did I wake up in a world where ‘amazing’ and ‘acceptable’ are pretty much the same word?
haha, you’re crazy, that was awesome.
This is the worst part of the interwebs. A bunch of people who can barely write a blog\barely write comments on said blog picking apart what is a modern masterpiece of film. The battle was dark, this one was for the whole pot. Both sides were all-in. Of course it had to end one way or the other here.
