I was actually mildly surprised that her forehead wrinkled and moved a little bit - thought she’d have been botoxed to the eyeballs ...
First thing’s first, I sometimes watch The Mando Show with my young daughters; however I thought the finale was an order of magnitude more intense and violent than all previous installments, and I don’t think I can let ‘em watch this one ...
Oh well; I enjoyed it very much, an appropriately epic finale to a solid 2nd…
I came to Aunty Donna basically the same way; stumbled onto them on youtube around 5 years ago - I found them occasionally inspired and generally willing to take risks, they are also capable of busting out with moments that made me genuinely uncomfortable.
Aunty Donna have been around a long time and they have a few gears; genuinely unpredictable with a really nice dynamic between the 3 members - I’ll be watching the 6 episodes and I am quite certain it won’t be boring.
It’s a shame you don’t really seem to be enjoying the Good Lord Bird all that much Eric; personally I have found the disparate tones have been enjoyably juggled; sometimes the balance has been a little sketchy but on the whole I’ve found it a refreshingly original diversion.
Hear, hear.
Our beloved properties? You assume a lot.
Dude needs to get attention somehow, clearly noone loves him in the real world, this is probably as good as it gets for him ..
Just stop watching if you’re not enjoying it man, easy - life’s to short to hate-watch, spending your time like that is just sad ..
Ethan Hawke was Old Testament epic in this episode, some great orating, jowl-quiveringly good stuff.
She was insufferable.
I wasn’t too perturbed over Ethan Hawke’s diminished role in this episode - I love his scenery-munching John Brown, but he is very shouty, and a little goes a long way.
whereas most pop songs in the 10s don’t even bother with a bridge at all ..
keep your knickers on love!
Madonna?
Red Dwarf was hugely successful for years in the UK and Australia.
The Ski Lift - great episode.
You have shit taste in women ...
hmm, well as I originally said I’d like to watch The World’s End again; unlike Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz I’ve only seen the former once ... willing to look at Frost’s role again with fresh eyes - I love him, just his out-takes alone from the first two Cornetto Trilogy films are hilarious in their own right ..
