that is a huge oversight - I was *just* about to praise the list for at least including the two nominations that sprung to my mind (Moon and Children of Men); but Gattaca was and is great ..

This ep stands up tall in the pantheon of great Curb eps imo; if Palestinian Chicken rates a fabled A+ then this goes mighty close. Extremely promising opening episode and one that forced me to pause more than once while I recovered my composure from laughing.

Zuko!

we’ve got a lot of mileage from Julia Donaldson’s work over the past couple of years; I can virtually recite most of it - really fun books; JD has mad meter and rhyme skillz. I think Tabby McTat might be my personal favourite; I like all of her collaborations with illustrator Axel Scheffler though ..

I started reading this to my daughter a little while back; I’d never read it myself previously.

how is it that I’ve floated around AV Club for years now and somehow never come across this feature?

from the sneak preview, the Uber episode looks ridiculously amazing

The Corey Calderwood update seriously touched me; I’ve had a shitty couple of weeks (nothin’ serious) and I was oddly moved by the progress he’d made; his girlfriend seemed cool.

Fuck Brian Woolfe btw, what a wanker!

well Janey-E was already settling for a fake-Dougie.

I just think Cooper succumbed to obsession.

In addition to poor gun discipline and a knack for violence, ‘cross-over Cooper’ also shows a complete lack of concern for the dead body in Carrie’s living room ..

didn’t sugar coat it, did he ?

well done on being the only person to relieve iceman’s ignorance with an actually answer that wasn’t just bluster.

he’s queer though, right?

James became a real wet blanket in S2, but the scene with him singing is great, and the reverb on the vocal is amazing.

agree, Windham Earle was pretty weak - skip to the last episode and hope for a stellar S3

that’s fair; I got to see the show when it originally aired (I woulda been around 18ish at the time) and it truly was ground-breaking - I was already a bit of a Lynch fan though having stumbled onto Blue Velvet one night, so I at least had some idea of what to expect when it dropped I suppose ..

No.

fun fact for the uninitiated:
there is a quaint unwritten rule in the AFL whereby it is somewhat ok to punch another man flush in the jaw *so long as you are holding a part of their jumper at the time* - I shit you not.
