@PickledEgg: No arguments here. (About the taxes).

@PickledEgg: Are you serious? Do you have any idea how much it could cost you if you ever seriously injure someone in a car accident? Well over what you've got squirreled away, I'm willing to bet, and there's a good chance it would exceed the limits of your bare-bones coverage (in my state, that's $250,000).

Can you make graphs like this in excel? It'd be interesting to track your days for a month and then log them all into these categories to see how you sync up with the rest of the world. Probably would be a good way to measure your own efficiency and effectiveness, too. Can we get a follow-up article on how to do

@slysolstice07: I'm not sure I understand why it's important to make the program apply only to US automakers. First of all, I thought part of the motivation for this plan was environmental, meaning getting clunkers off the road, regardless of who made them, is important. Second, the plan was to generate spending,

There's the best image I've ever created in MS Paint.

This kind of reminds me of what me elementary school teachers taught us to do before we wrote something to organize our thoughts.

@DevourerKwi: It is, without a doubt, my favorite new invention of the modern world.

@DevourerKwi: I have no idea about specifically negotiating for a foam mattress, but I would guess the same principles would apply.

I feel like every week there's some article on here about how to haggle on Craigslist...

@GeneralWinter: Why not 4chan? An hour of browsing will get you some unique backgrounds with the added bonus of vulgar language, inside jokes, and disgusting images along the way!

@LesPaulLvr5: Perhaps a new comment system as well? I think it's pretty counter-intuitive how the most recent independent comments stack on top of each other while the most recent replies to comments appear beneath each other.

@JadeEmperor: I've read this comment a couple times and I'm not sure I understand it. Are you saying that only Americans save too much for retirement, or only Americans save at all for retirement?

Why would they make it a digital wallpaper image? That way you have to have it displayed all the time and you run into the same problem as always when you lose your phone: as soon as the battery dies no one has any idea whose it is.

@TheFu: Don't worry, man. This is all the government's doing to stimulate spending and try to get us out of this economic rut. Just like it was the government bumping off all those celebrities recently so they could collect on inheritance taxes. Gotta do something, right?

I never tried the standing meeting, but I had a lot of success keeping my meetings on time with the ticking clock method. Each person had 10 minutes for their portion, and after that is was done. Everyone was then motivated not to beat around the bush and if someone was, eventually someone else would interrupt with

@AmphetamineCrown: This is a good point, but only if you've already done the thinking and decided that you actually need it/want it before you start watching for it. That way it's not really an impulse it's just you being patient waiting for a good deal.

@arsenik: Favorite'd! To be read later when bored at work...

@nycrite: Well said, but see my comment below (in response to abhowell). Could there be a reverse effect for those of us who are so used to the accountability of seeing it printed up in black and white on our bank statements?
