I wonder if the next bonus for the CEO is going to be smaller or bigger then the previous one.

That would by very dependent on who is running the service.
Pickup trucks with American flags sorta take the work out of it already.
“There are enough rules in RPGs that the last thing we need is outside forces coming in to try and regulate how we gather together to play games. [...] With a small, but ever growing stable of full-time employees who rely on the success of our content to survive and to have access to health care, there is nothing…
You’re obviously acting in bad faith, but just for the sake of it, no, this is not how “bait” works. “Bait” would be if I wrote an incendiary headline that dishonestly portrayed the issue, and then prominently exaggerated things in such a way to raise the ire of your ilk.
THANK YOU.
It’s desperately sad, and concerningly telling, that you could perceive this observation as “outrage.” And perhaps you might want to aim your fury at the show you love so much, for making the same point themselves.
Any app that won’t launch in the EU over ‘regulatory concerns’ is actively bad for you.
Corporations in general are trying to separate themselves from the ‘need’ of human labor and focus on reinforcing that bottom line. They’re completely devoid of humanity now in their pursuit of greed.
TBH this sounds like a ridiculous thing that gets proposed with the sole purpose of being thrown out to show that you are making concessions.
How about we just replace Hollywood Executives with AI? They are already inhuman morons that can only copy the original ideas of other more talented people, so why not just cut out the middle man?
He’s certainly not above that. And demonstrated that the moment he hit max production numbers for the previous EV tax rebate plan and then called for the whole program to be canceled so car buyers of his competitors couldn’t benefit from it.
“The goal of xAI is to understand the true nature of the universe.”
This is the whole thing. There’s no benefit to allowing all these self-driving cars onto the roads in SF. All it does is put taxi and rideshare drivers out of work. We already have a homeless crisis in SF. We don’t need *more* people out of work.
No there is no data to suggest AV cars are safer than humans. Amazes me how many people are misinformed.
Human drivers are 99.999819% crash free. Self driving cars will likely never surpass this reliability rating, and any less that full self driving capability is a liability (see Tesla’s “autopilot”). So all this tech can simply be replaced by minimum wage driver, they would have been better off creating an annuity to…
Even if it makes traffic a bit slower in the short term we need to make decisions based on the long term benefits.
Tech startups will go to any lengths to avoid paying their drivers won’t they? With all the money wasted on developing self driving cars, it would have been more cost effective to simply pay their drivers instead.
Sadly, I feel this is just one more step in publishers justifying spending little to nothing on unknown/lesser known authors by hoping social media makes a book go “viral.” It also lets publishers feel they can blame the author for not working the social hard enough.
2 clicks is what I’d expect. One to cancel, and one to say “Are you sure you want to cancel?”
