To this day, art historians are still baffled. Who was this “Getty” and how did they manage to create so many images?

The coolest part is that while that entire pattern predictably comes to pass for a particular business, the people responsible for ruining said business gain money and simply move on to the next business they can ruin for their own profit (which welcomes them with open arms).

I love living in this stupid place at this stupid time, where absolutely everything follows the same reliable pattern of be good -> be forced to expand infinitely to meet a frankly psychotic ideal of eternal growth -> inevitably become shit, crash, and burn.

Capitalism is so fun and good and healthy.

Go broke, blame woke.

Outrageously undercutting your peers severely lowers the going rate for the kind of work you all collectively do.

It’s almost as if the average person should be paid more.

The rich are rich by exploiting those poorer than them. It’s a universal truth.

“The rich are continuing to be among the cheapest.”

There’s a lesson in there.

Only long term corruption in the courts? Oh, my sweet summer child.

“Otherwise, don’t bother complaining about games that are late or buggy as shit.”

We’re not just talking working a little bit of extra time here is the issue. If and when something unexpected comes up and you’re asked to work overtime for a few days, it’s not the end of the world.

I like how, as always whenever you mock Piker’s lavish lifestyle, you immediately get the completely Musk Weird Nerd-esque dishonest “are you expecting him to live in a hole” stuff as though there’s no comfortable standard of living below having a multi-million dollar house and a $200,000 car that still exceeds that

Yeah, anyone who claims they’re offended by “cracker” is actually just mad that they can’t use the n-word.

Imagine being the kind of person that could afford to spend money just to get a receipt that proves you paid money to get a receipt associated with a URL anyone in the world can access.

Eat the rich.

It doesn't look fun to build at all.

A whole lot of repetitive building ahead for that build.

Nah, let’s wait a bit for that. There’s never been a better time for Scotland’s independence and the restoration of the occupied Six Counties to Dublin rule.

The problem with crafting is that they haven’t found a way to gamify it in a way that’s actually fun and will not take 20 years to develop along with the rest of the game.

Crafting systems are great when they reward curiosity and exploration. A simple “you need X of Y to make Z” is boring. But something where you can combine random ingredients to get unknown items/effects is specifically rewarding because it’s surprising, and because it rewards you for going out of your way to look for
