The whole time I watched this scene I thought, 'I can't wait to see how predictably the AVC will cover this!'

No no, I get it, your way is better than what the show came up with. We understand each other.
In the missing pieces that scene isn't superimposed with sounds and lodge inhabitants. Philip goes on about what he saw, and talks about Judy some, at which point Albert (of course) snarks about how he thought they weren't gonna talk about Judy.
It sounds like an alternate take because I thought in the movie he says, "Who do you think this is THERE?" and it sounds a little different. I haven't checked to confirm though.
I was hoping they'd use some of The Missing Pieces footage of Philip appearing in Buenos Aires next to a wall that is charred in a hotel.
That whole scene is transcendentally surreal. But the best part, right before he leaves, you hear on the other end, "Give me back my phone." Perfect.
Plus, Mystery Man tells Fred they've met "At [his] house." And when Diane asks Dark Coop where they last met DC says, "At your house." It seemed intentional.
I feel like Sonny Jim is gonna die. Mostly due to the show dealing with the loss of a child. The Hit and Run mom. Sarah lost Laura. Frank and Doris lost their son.
It would explain why Cooper cried watching Sonny Jim in the car in an earlier episode.
Yeah, I only half believe Diane, especially since her motives are still in question. I feel like if Cooper had such a great relationship with her, she can't be bad. And if she's up to anything, it's due to Dark Cooper's influence, and whatever happened "that night" which she hasn't discussed.
"What happens in season 2?" - Albert, in season 3
I am with you about James in the boiler room. In Cooper's dream (European version) BOB is in the basement of the hospital, but it looked so similar in the Great Northern. Plus, they didn't reuse that part of the dream in the series (I think they just used "Mike, Mike! Can you hear me?" and his "Catch you with my…
If they did all that it would've been far too much exposition and would've seemed like an info dump.
You know, some things just make me genuinely worried we can never go back to being a civilization. Having a president that doesn't want to denounce white supremacists (mostly because they're his base) is one of those times.
Why wouldn't he say it? Is it because he loves the poorly educated?
I try to avoid doing anti…
Just because someone dares to not agree with all of us, we don't have to be this defensive. If his comments go over the line, then they'll deal with it, until then, it'll just devolve into a playground argument.
This story just seems off…
Laura's angels are back.
That part reminded me of a Shyamalan movie.
I was only wary of her character. I didn't trust her. But everyone seems to really respect her (Diane doesn't count).
"It's a world of truck drivers."
Sarah chuckles, "Mmm, not as many as there used to be."
And poor Andy sat in the front row of the theater.
