The “better game now” fallacy is the only reason the NBA continues to exist.  It’s a really great marketing tactic but completely untrue.  In fact, this fallacy is what saved the business from failing about a decade ago.

I believe that “HQ2" is now referred to as  HQ2a and HQ2b. Not going to weigh in on which is which but they will be referred to separately as they will be separate locations with separate facilities and separate work forces.
