Can you review the Fulvia instead?

I actually love chrome, because, at least in older cars, chrome was always metal pieces, it shows that all your parts aren’t plastic. for window surrounds. most low gloss black finishes look really cheap and plasticy. Chrome was a sign of material and design quality.

not even kidding you, I was working on trucks and one of the VP’s called me, after driving a mule truck around, complaining that the sun was bouncing off the chrome into his eyes, and he wanted me to fix it.

I own a BMW as well, the chrome has its own issues. its aluminum which under the right circumstances can start corrode over time, you get this white dull finish if not taken care of.

its $60 a car on every car, and thats just one component of the package. lets say you have a full “black out package” how much does every one of those new pieces cost, and how much do you charge the customer. FCA and GM don’t have particularly good profit margins right now. and these packages are meant to make money.

its very reflective chrome. many vehicles have it now aday

This. we had scratch and marr testing on our DVP&R’s because of it.

It all depends on what the design was before. So for instance the Grand Cherokee has a DLO that is stretch bent and co-extruded stainless steel. to make that whole thing a black color that meets all appearance and endurance specifications is not possible with current technology, because the film needs to be applied

my time to shine!!! I worked for *INSERT OEM HERE* as a release engineer for weatherstrips, and DLO’s those chrome strips around the windows are not so easy to change color, they aren’t like a bumper, or insert on the side of the car. they are almost always stainless steel or aluminum usually stretch-bent or stamped.

apples to oranges. Mazda has a full range of vehicles. not a micro 2 door, 2 CUV’s and now a roadster.

Mazda has the worst UI, Im suprised they sell cars. then again the US companies have pretty crappy ones too.

I do believe, I have a boner.

this pizza is AhhhMAA-zing!

man I miss the days when italian cars had tailpies that extended 1 foot aft of the car

Party on one side, Business on the other.

this is why we need more tasteful chrome back in modern cars.

still doing better than

off subject, as much as I love this. but just for a moment think of how incredibly ridiculous the jump from E39-46 to e60-e92 m cars were? sure you made decent power in the e39 m5 but it was just an 8 cyl. e60 threw in a v10, and the e92 had a much more potent v8. where as M3's were nothing but 6's and 4's since the

something scares me about the front end half shafts with that kind of power behind them.
