They failed to clearly communicate two things:

- that Jon’s rejection of her gave her no future as a queen, even one shared with Jon as King.

I didn’t think it was nearly as bad as everyone is saying. The worst part for me was Euron vs. Jaime, the battle no one asked for.

I liked it. This story HATES monarchs and doesn’t believe in heroes or benevolent dictators. D&D aren’t as elegant as Martin will be about the ending but it worked for me.
