Do Teslas creep like an automatic or is it still until you hit the gas?

I think the reposting of the article barely touches on the most important point which is that the cars are being abandoned without any damage to the vehicle. A lot of the comments below seem to miss that point.

Someone at work was tooling around the parking lot in a Hellcat last week. I noticed it because I could hear it inside the building, through double pane windows and it was about 100 yards away and the driver was driving at normal speed. Yes, it's surprising how loud that thing is.
