It’s always annoyed me when media has female animal characters appear more human but then have the male characters look more like animals. It’s not even just a Japanese thing, since Blacksad has the same problem.

As someone who spent a week working Hospital HR and seeing dozens of hospital workers complaining about getting the vaccine, I feel this. Their literal supervisors were getting their shots and yelling at them that it was safe and to stop getting their information off Facebook instead of the actual hospital. 

Obviously issues with the company, sure. But even if they were many, many degrees worse than they are (cough, Facebook and Google, cough) I’d still be very much on their side against the douchebag sexually harassing children for online fame.

The last update they posted to their KS was a trailer, over a year prior.

I feel bad for them. I know the stress of game dev and get the frustration of trying to get shit done while being interrupted. But they should update once in a while. People take the money and run. People give up. I imagine most of the backers would’ve been happy with just some check-ins.

Part of me wonders if the “tone” was a language thing. Ebb is based in Serbia, so I doubt English is his first language.

Yes, the respawning checkpoints broke the game for me. I understand that it want even a design choice but a technical limitation. It made travel between missions almost unbearable and often times much harder than the missions themselves. It also broke immersion.

I forgot to mention that in my post about FC2. Yeah, those damn checkpoints would respawn in minutes.   

I don’t know if it actually affects its ranking, but...

Far Cry 2 is trash. Every second of that game someone is shooting at you. Thankfully future games fixed that problem by letting you take over encampments which cut down on enemy spawns.

Far Cry 5 did have some gameplay improvements in the form of pets and planes, but it dragged on too long. Overall Far Cry 4 was more enjoyable.

Blood Dragon should have been #2 at least, and there is no way that Far Cry 4 is better than 5.

That just means everyone else would be banned arbitrarily without due diligence. That’s even worse than some people having blanket immunity.

That doesn’t make it any better. All it does is mean that some people were allowed to ignore the rules but anyone doing the same would be banned, and as they basically state, the mods were banning people with making any effort at all to check if the ban was legit unless you were on this list. Pretty shitty.

“Objective metrics” by who’s standards, though? Last I checked, the establishment of those metrics is inherently subjective when you’re not simply following the letter of law and doing no more, no less.
