Next maybe they’ll stop working with war criminals.

Man, I just started following them like 2 years ago and now it’s all falling apart. I was just thinking last week how sad I’d be if Vinny left, but literally my 3 favorite people on the site all at once is gutting.
I think the age of these game industry groups is over. Freelance and the youtuber/twitch route has proved to be successful for many in the industry, and the idea of having a traditional publication with multiple reviewers seems archaic.
With Official Playstation Mag UK closing and now most of Giant Bomb leaving...
Alright Gerstmann, what’d you do?
It’s a complicated issue. Lump sum sales are good for publishers b/c it’s guaranteed income and they don’t even have to advertise to get it. We really don’t know how these numbers relate to their expected sale rates, that 1.4M could represent a year or more of expected revenue. It was launched in 2014! Also, many of th…
These are all games which have been out for a long while. The vast majority of people who are taking these free offers would never have purchased the game at the normal retail price, and probably not even with a deep sale discount. When you consider that, these deals are probably very profitable for the devs.
Sorry, but some Indie developers need to figure out how to negotiate better. RIME for $45,000 is laughable when compared to others. No surprise Epic doesnt want the numbers to be out in public, because they don’t wanna pay more, when they make a killing offering with such “small” deals.
Any 24 hours cycle media will have issues of misinformation or disinformation. Then, you take that, add a couple of million people who are doing the exact same thing, you now have millions of 24 hours channels that felt the need to comment on anything in order to fill the time.
We have arbitrarily named April Backlog Month
The writing was on the wall when Ziff Davis acquired them in 2017. Kind of surprised it took them this long to greed it up, tbh. Were probably waiting for all of us to forget they were acquired by a megaconglomerate so that we wouldn’t associate the shitty policy changes with the acquisition. Didn’t forget!
None of those streamers are gonna notice you. Now go back to subbing for 72 months, simp.
Until people get over their stupid FOMO, we’re going to have this shit. I don’t blame Capcom or Sony for taking advantage of a character flaw in their customer base.
My advice would be, as much as possible, to prioritize exploration over boss fights. This will allow you to get/buy more charms and some of them can be very useful agains bosses. And don’t forget that some charms combinations cand produce new and useful effects.
Also don’t play with the joycon!
He had a stream with Drake and got a shitload of people who never watch twitch to use their Twitch Prime free subs on him. Nothing wrong with it, but there were definitely things outside of just him that got him there.
Pretty sure Ninja rode the Fortnite train to the top.
How did Ninja hit his number? Was it a similar method (i.e. stunt) or was it more “natural”? Still, this Ludwig thing was pretty wild. People mentioned it in multiple other streams I watch, definitely seemed to be the talk of the town.
“Parasocial relationships” have brought the celebrity stalkers of the pre-Internet age, who were terrible but generally enough of a joke that David Letterman made a recurring gag out of his stalker, into whole new utterly horrifying territory.
lol.
