Oh man, you certainly showed me by Godwinning the argument. You definitely proved your point and didn’t at all make yourself look foolish.

Hmmm... I did not interpret it that way, but that is equally as disturbing.

So, instead of being proactive and preventing pollution, we should be reactive and sue someone for dumping pollutants? That’s your position?

I for one am happy about it because topics like climate change should not be handled by governments.

You’re... being sarcastic, right?

A danger indeed, but I mean seriously, have you seen the weather? This year, in NY has been crazy. Upstate had major windstorms (that have never really happened before) and it’ll be over 70 in February, then we’ll have a giant snow storm a couple days later. The lake is flooding most people. It’s madness and that’s

Oh, I don’t think they will at all. It’s far to expensive and deadly to be a viable business anymore. The cost of solar is plummeting and wind power is gaining more acceptance and we’re figuring out new methods of clean energy production all the time (not that most are viable or being used, but gotta start somewhere,

Yeah, the oil companies do have a lot to do with it. They fund the “research” that allows deniers to deny.

I kind of think it is catastrophically bad. I mean, have you seen the weather? Climate change is real and it is happening. If we’re not all on board, we’re all kind of doomed. Unfortunately, climate change doesn’t respect borders.

The irony is that Nicaragua didn’t want to join because they believed the Accord didn’t go far enough. Syria’s otherwise occupied being in the middle of a civil war.

Yeah, without an overarching policy and goals, individual efforts don’t really matter if there are others who will do as they please and continue to pollute. It’s great that California reduced it’s smog problem. However, if West Virginia continues to spew out coal, it’s still bad. Sure, individual actors may slow

Oh, they definitely are, there’s really no question. Uber’s “disruption” business model is merely misclassifying employees as independent contractors, that’s it. Now that the US DOL is a farce due to Trump, there won’t be an issue there, but the CA and NY DOLs will continue to attempt to reclassify the independent

Here’s my thoughts on that: Should we, or really any organization attempting to at least garner some respect, allow people to write on topics, about which they have no specialized knowledge?

All you need to know is:

Yeah, as an attorney and former federal district court law clerk, I couldn’t believe how wrong that was.

Bloatware is anything you don’t want on your phone that you didn’t put there. Thus, any application on your phone that was preinstalled that you do not want is, by definition, bloatware.

I’m ok with Google’s data collection because a) their privacy policy spells out exactly what they do with your data (as required by federal law) and b) if I’m going to see ads anyway, I suppose they might as well be relevant to me.

Google? They’re one of the best companies to work for (so I hear) and they are pushing society forward through their Project X innovations and AI.

Choose carefully, you only have the one.

I’ve never seen High Anxiety, but I think Spaceballs is far better than The Producers and since I have no particular love for old horror movies or westerns, I think Spaceballs is much better than either Young Frankenstein or Blazing Saddles.
