Awww…I like Jimmy Johns bread…
It'll always be a "grinder" to me because — wait, no it won't… *sigh*
Otis should have countered by trademarking Descalator then for the downwards ones. "Sure, you got us on the upwards ones, but we demand royalties if your patrons don't want to use the stairs to get back down!"
Aggg! Then what the hell is an actual subway now??
After the release of two really solid interviews today, this happened??
Sure, or I was thinking evolving from the realm of "Please stop showing up on my screen" to "Ohhhhh…no. Ah geez. No no no. Come on. Nooooo."
Oh, Golly!
I've put my family's entire savings on a bet that Lou Solverson dies before the season is out.
Caught me off guard too. Had to quickly hit my googler on that name to make sure it was indeed Michael Westen. Maybe he'll have a Glenn Howerton arc of starting out pretty grating and one-note before, well, you know…
This interview reminded me that for such an amazing cast from top to bottom, only a handful of actors from that show have really gone on to other ("big") projects. What a shame.
I tend to like Alexander Payne movies….but this sounds terrible.
I found this to be a lot more enjoyable than the pilot. More levity, an interesting arc for Hailey, the asides from the other orchestra members…
I mean absolutely no sarcasm at all when I say that the "nitpicking" comment threads are the best part of the Mozart in the Jungle reviews.
I found the pilot juuust good enough to watch the second episode, which I felt was a lot stronger. Also, thanks to this review, I know now that a tutor tutors a tutee. Never thought about that before.
Here I am, packing up all the Christmas decorations and knick-knacks thinking the Christmas season was over, but then the AV Club drops this little beauty on us. Amazing.
It's hard to keep track with this growing number, but last time I checked he also wasn't that into raping African American women.
In the back half of the episode, the Doctor and Clara have that quick discussion about how they should have a wound in their temple from the crabs, but don't since they're still in a dream. Yet at the end, I didn't notice any wound, so…still happily living in a dream having their brains eaten? Eh, why not
My confusion: in the dream layer where the 3 scientists wake up, there was still an additional dream layer above that one. The Doctor had to go wake up Clara from that layer, but not the other scientists…so what happened to them? Were they busted entirely out of the dream layers when they were shown waking up and…
I read all those facts, but maybe we just all calm down and let Russell Crowe win this won.
