Apparently you’ve never had to drive in the city of New Orleans. We have probably the worst roads in the country. I’ve seen potholes in the city that will eat a Suburban, lol.

I know I don’t need it and I know I could get by with a much smaller vehicle, but, I liked it and I can afford to own it, so I got it. In almost 2 years of ownership, I think I’ve used the 3rd row twice. The ole lady and I do travel quite often and sometimes, we will have friends go with us and the second row is…
I drive an Escalade ESV with 0 kids. Why? You might ask. Simple. Because I can.
Glad I drive a Cadillac
Use to have a Navigator L and I was horrible about leaving it running and locking it from the keypad.........I live in Louisiana and it gets hot in the summer, so instead of having to recool it off, I’d leave the AC and cooled seats blasting when I was in the store or whatever. It never did get broken into or stolen.…
I don’t think so, he is a family friend and I know he owned his previous vehicle and he hasn’t leased anything since. At the time, he was pretty hard up, just had twins and his extended cab Sierra wasn’t big enough for all the kids, and he had planned on getting a Suburban, but that was when the 00's first hit the…
Only if the windshield is so cracked, you cannot see out of it. Or a brand new windshield with the tape all around it holding it in place until the adhesive dries.
I know someone who started out leasing a 00 model with the 5.4L (Why the hell would they put the 5.4L in a vehicle that size, still puzzles me). That was all fine and dandy until he hit a deer and the dealership pulled the black box and when they did, there was some inconsistencies with what the odometer said and what…
When I was much younger (late teens - early twenties) we use to catch them that size or smaller (and for the record, no alligators were ever harmed doing this, we always released them back into the wild, usually in a better place than where we found them) and stick them in a large ice chest and prop the lid open and…
I remember seeing this Camry for sale on Ebay years ago.
A few years back, I came close to sending my Navigator L to him.........so glad I didn’t. I do live out of state, but it’s only a 6 hr drive from my home to his shop, so if he would have ripped me off, I would have drove my happy ass over there and introduced him to a close friend of mine, Mr. Glock .40. I’m pretty…
If you live in Louisiana there is also another option, News On Wheels, it’s basically a sales paper with nothing but vehicles.
@ RazorGP:
My cousin had a 05 model, I believe it was, and he rolled it one night and it royally fucked him up, so yeah, if they could keep the occupants in, during a rollover, I might consider getting a new one.
I’m not saying it’s the best, but personally, I learned on a 97 Single Cab Tacoma, with no suspension left to it. My cousin taught me on his truck. I got the basics down on that truck and then I started daily driving a 89 Honda Prelude.
Can’t get heated & cooled cloth seats, last time I checked........and living in south Louisiana, I want cooled seats.
I didn’t pay quite that much, but my Silverado High Country was damn near that, after options & tt&l.
90k for an Escalade, try 106k after tt&l for my ESV Platinum

Is it just me or does that drivers door scream S10 Blazer?
