Yeah! Why wouldnt someone buy something that’s less roomy, doesnt ride as well, is noisier, cant tow as much, is less luxurious, is slower and that gets worse mileage? I mean, TOYOTA! Duh.
My first car was a 1987 Ford Escort GT.
Go sit in one. The seats, especially the back, have 0 contour to them. It’s literally like two pieces of plywood with some foam glued to it. There’s more, like how the HVAC controls beep when you change them. Why? Beep. Beep. Beep. Wtf? You cant judge a Mirage by the picture. I'd rather drive a 1996 Corsica.
They are choosing vehicles currently in production over ones discontinued 8 years ago? Weird.
C’mon now, we all know fullsize trucks top out at 8 MPG, spew billions of tons of CO2 at idle, and every single one could be replaced by a [insert unloved vehicle here, example: minivan, station wagon] and everyone would be better off.
Im forced to agree. The RX-8, Element, Saturn SC/Ion, FJ Cruiser, and extended cab pickups are not in the same category as independently-opening, rear-hinged doors, like those on the Continental, etc.
I have found many redeeming qualities with my 2005 Element. It is very versatile, comfortable, easy to park, reliable and roomy. It’s easy for my elderly family/friends to get in and out of (well, the front seat, at least), and the seating position helps me with my back.
I’m afraid I dont get this mentality. I’ve seen the same thing said about the F-150 and other models that continue to be popular. If the vehicles didnt continually improve and find new ways of doing what they do best, then maybe so. Aside from people being forced to replace their vehicles due to a total loss, excessiv…
Well, at least someone was able to turn this into a rambling, venom-spewing bitch rant about trucks and the people who drive them. I was afraid the opportunity would’ve passed by without someone calling people who like trucks tiny-dick idiots who should only buy vehicles that they intend to use at 100% of their…
It certainly didn’t take much time for you to formulate an opinion based on absolutely nothing but ignorant assumptions. Dismissing the car because you dont know much of anything about it. Claiming it needs the things it has, accusing it of being things it isn’t. Sorry, not sorry, if I offended you by calling out your…
Comprehension? You mean reading about numerous issues with GM and ignition switches (including continuing to use known defective parts, hiding behind the bankruptcy, killing a hundred plus people), and dismissing them as a “theory”? Thats amazing. I’m sure they dont teach that kind of comprehension in school. Thank…
So, it has a similar front end to the MKZ, so that’s out. I mean, nobody has shared design language aside from Lincoln. Certainly not Lexus, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, nope, just Lincoln.
Shh, they suck because American. The Lexus LX and GX, on the other hand...
Right, because the last batch they built went to Uber drivers, correct?
The North American market Taurus is not on the CD4. It was (it’s out of production now) on the D3 platform.
Awesome! My friend has a 2018 Accord, I'll have to try that the next time I see her.
I want an Acty truck so bad. And a Daihatsu deck van. And a Toyota HiAce crew cab 4x4 truck. And...I could go on forever.
I was just thinking “someone move these before they’re destroyed by an earthquake” while looking through the pictures.
Any evidence to support that? Or just the typical "American automakers are evil, so it must be true" bullshit?
