Right? Now it's going on my fantasy collection list.

I love it. Great video. But next time, dont make Otto wear his pajama shirt in the southern sun, lol.

Nahh, they just forgot the "Real people. Not actors." tagline.

I think that in this case, “testing the waters” equates to “I dont want to sell, but if you’ll give me absolutely stupid money, I will”.

The Century in unashamedly aimed towards Japanese buyers and Japanese buyers only. The Century isn’t fussed about S-Classes, Flying Spurs, or even Ghosts. It doesn’t need to compete with them on a global scale because it’s not meant to.”

We had one traded in on the Explorer I mentioned in another thread, it was a manual. The Stratus I drove was a 2.4L, which could be paired with a manual in the Dodge, but not the Plymouth.

Oh, I sure did! Definitely not the person I was referring to, it was me! And yeah, I said all that. Sure.

Damn, and I thought we came here to talk about cars.

Well, I've seen people take running/driving cars to the scrap yard down here, but idk, that one wheel and the "LX" badge look salvageable, lol.

I felt the same way when I first drove a 1st gen Dodge Stratus (and later, a 5spd Plymouth Breeze), Oldsmobile Aurora, 1998ish Suburban and a few others. I never expected to like them as much as I did. I liked the Chevy Corsica a lot more than I figured, and hated the Cavalier a lot more than should be rational, given

I absolutely agree. When I see someone driving a rare car, or a rare version, I’ll speak to them if given the chance, or at least give them a wave or thumbs up when I drive by.

Agreed, although I’m not a big FCA fan, the Challenger clearly fills a need. Age of the car/platform isn’t the only factor in a car’s success or failure. I mean, the Challenger outsells the much-newer Camaro. I know which one I'd choose.

Hell yeah! Awesome read, thanks for sharing. Its incredible when you meet another person into cars like you are, it's like two blind people finding each other in the forest, lol.

You should convince them to try. They might learn to appreciate it for different reasons than they do their Mustangs. Yes, a Mustang GT is a fun car, but so is the ST, in different ways. I’d jump at the chance to try one out.

I absolutely will let someone I trust drive my cars. I enjoy sharing with them, especially if they dont realize the reasons I appreciate the vehicle so much.

The only surprise is that the 500L is still here. I’m thinking it has to do with where it’s built for this market, that the assembly line could be put to better use by building something more profitable and that sells better.

Maybe because it sells decently well?

The 500L is built in Serbia, not Italy.

Pretty crazy how people seem to be wishing and hoping for high gas prices (including a recession, if necessary, although as you pointed out, they dont go hand-in-hand) to supposedly stop people from buying what they want so they’ll (supposedly) be forced to buy that that person wants them to buy.

When I was a service advisor, the only time we tried to get them to just buy a car instead of fix it was when the current car was just a complete basket case. I remember this one lady who had a 1990 Continental with 238k on it, and it needed thousands of dollars in repairs. But, she loved the car and fixed it anyway.
