No, I just brought a different point of view, one that had recently been argued, pretty successfully, about the Porsche + Nazi association. The argument is about the car, which should be judged in and of itself. There was perhaps no car in history that changed the world like the Model T, regardless of who created it.

I get that, and I appreciate your clarification, but dismissing the Wrangler based on a preconceived notion about its owners just doesn’t seem right. I mean, just about every car listed here can have a section of their owner base that’s obnoxious or ridiculous. Camrys driving 5 mph under the limit in the left lane.

Dude, what else is fucking black and white is where I didnt defend or excuse his views or actions, and it may be news to you, but the Nazis hated more than just Jews. That is why I mentioned what I did about his hiring policies in the early days of the company. If he was as horrible as the Nazis, that would have

A respectable car? Hell no it can't be American! Clearly it was solid non-American engineering and not the very American V-8s that made it successful.

Yes, I agree that it's the best rental when the alternative is an Altima.

Yes, or the American fullsize truck in general. Combined, they outsell everything else. But the anti-truck/anti-American manufacturer crowd (often one in the same) will never have it.

The image of a person judging another person solely by what they drive is pretty terrible, too.

The Civic has the ability to be decidedly *not* boring, though.

“Or, take a Ford Model T—sure, it’s incredibly important and put the country on wheels, but plenty of people won’t forget what a bastard Henry Ford was, personally.”

2wd only.

As an Oldsmobile fan boy, I do love the car. Would I pay ungodly amounts of money for it? No.

But they AREN’T developing new sports cars. They arent even developing decent SUVs and trucks.

Never been a fan of pop-up headlights or hide-aways, either. The first Mercury Cougar looked okay, as does the Charger someone else posted, the rest range from "meh" to terrible, IMO.

Meh. Its kinda like asking which Honda truck it the best at towing horse trailers (or which SUV is their best rock crawler), or which Land Rover is the best for someone on a budget.

Good news! It wasnt a Range Rover.

Good, because the CH-R is pathetic.

As the current (fairly happy) owner of an AWD Honda Element, I would definitely look at that if Toyota actually built it.

And people wonder why I dont have all the social media crap. So glad her “adventure sistor” was there to capture all those spontaneous moments that were totally not staged at all.

 Congratulations!

That cant really be on craigslist. He didnt say it "has new breaks".
