Probably because you cant order anything bigger than a 3/4 RAM with anything but a diesel. Compared to the shoddy Mexican built Hemi, hell yeah a Cummins is the way to go. You’d be stupid not to. Thankfully, not every automaker is FCA, and therefore aren't as handicapped when it comes to building a reliable engine

So... why do I see non-taxi Prius’ with less than 200k going for nothing saying it needs batteries? Why are there entire companies that do nothing but recondition Hybrid batteries?

Thanks man, and you wont be seeing me there anymore. I finally made a post about how accepting I believed the B&B were, and in less than a week, they proved me wrong with their elitist attitude and behavior. I honestly thought those days were behind us, which us why I posted what I did about acceptance and so on.

Im surprised more Nissans arent on the list, including the Versa.

According to the chart, I’m a post-millenial/gen Xer. I love my little Honda with a manual. I wouldnt have bought it any other way. Same goes for an Accord, Civic, Focus, Veloster, basically anything halfway decent to drive. I do love my Taurus, in spite of it being an automatic, not because of it.

But not everybody is too ignorant to realize that most modern trucks (modern as in not the Toyota Tundra or your dad’s 1991 Cheyenne), outside of heavy duty ones, get decent mileage without giving up capabilities to do it. My dad has a 2013 F-150 3.5L EcoBoost 4x4, and regularly gets mileage in the low 20s when

Rreally? Because the Ford Ranger, Jeep Gladiator and Chevy Colorado each can haul more than the Ridgeline. Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot that American trucks are generally better than most anything else. Unfair comparison, I know.

Aafter reading the comments, all I can say is...how refreshing. Most people seem to “get” this engine, its purpose and mission in life. Other auto site’s comment sections are full of people ranting about how NOBODY NEEDS A TRUCK and MY E90 BMW IS MORE CAPABLE THAN A SUPER DUTY, and the ignorance goes on and on.

Yeach, because towing and payload certainly isnt a "category that counts" with pickup trucks.

I seriously doubt that any CUV will be cut. Some of their also-ran sedans, however, are ripe for plucking.

I didnt know that non-legacy automakers are impervious to economic downturns. I kinda figured that if they consistently lose money when the economy is fairly good, they would continue to bleed when it isnt. Nice to know that is impossible.

I absolutely agree, and the general tone of this article suggests that all “legacy” automakers are doomed, as is the ICE engine, as both are pretty much one-in-the-same. I do not believe that ICEs are “going the way of the steam engine” any time soon. Anyone who believes such needn’t look any further than sales

I prefer the first generation Millenia to the refresh, I think it looked better by a long shot.

Last time I checked, Bronco doesnt start with an E. Also, Ford has stated in the past that they would like to continue the Fusion name here, although it wont be on a sedan body.

Name a vehicle that hasn’t grown over the years. Start with a 1976 Honda Accord and a 2019 version. 1984 Dodge Caravan and a 2019. I could go on.

So, you see a development mule, and instead of accepting it as proof that they are indeed "working on it", you assume it's the production vehicle that is being "premiered"? Wow. Just.... wow.

It’s also “amazing” to learn that there are legitimate reasons as to why they weren’t sold here. The crew cab Ranger would not pass US crash tests, so Ford created a vehicle that would, as in Explorer Sport Trac.

The chicken tax doesnt keep Ford from selling the Transit Connect here (the loophole they were using was closed years ago, yet the van remains). So, if Ford can afford it on a van that typically sells for less than $30k, you’re saying that it would be impossible to do for a $50k Mercedes?

I just bought an Element (2005, EX, 5spd 4wd) last month, and it has headroom for days. I’m not especially tall, but I’m not short, either. I could wear a 10 gallon hat without touching the roof. Literally *everyone* who has been in my Element since I bought it has immediately commented at how roomy it is. If Honda
