@pobregizmo: I walked into Best Buy the other day for a USB cable, cheapest one $24.95. Fry's had one for $4.77. There should be warning signs.

@LastAndLeast: Yes, they can tell. The question is, Do they care? That answer is usually, no. If you're on a capped plan, stay within that limit, or find out what your unlimited plan's cap is (usually 5GB on most carriers in the US). Also, certain kinds of traffic might make you appear on their radar more like

"making pretty sure the party doesn't start until 6:30 sharp"

@jodark: 2002s built thru '76 were famous for dying fuel pumps too.

@ModernDemagogue2: And yet, I think it is a federal crime to disobey a flight attendant...no matter what sort of safety request they have. I'm always hoping I'll be called upon for my best rendition of the Chicken Dance, for whatever bizarre safety situation that might be.

I'll be impressed when it can handle Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now!

@Passa: What would really be great would be somehow mapping multitouch to somehow emulate the crazy chording combinations you needed to really get that Pyro GX to move. Prepare for launch, Material Defender.

Gotta love Samsung, a lot of their stuff is junky and/or overpriced, but they keep trying everything until something works.

@stryder100: I think the UI elements on a successful desktop PC OS and a phone are dramatically different. You are witnessing Microsoft figuring that out.

For years, people have been yelling at the TV both in cheer and outrage. What's changed now, is we're close to the point where the idiot on the other end is starting to get feedback sooner and sooner.

@se7a7n7: I liked Camera 360 too, but it accounted for 90% of my day's battery life, even when I didn't use it that day. Scary.

It took getting an HTC to realize how good the auto white balance was on my previous Nokias. Still haven't had a phone that takes as consistently good pics as my old SE K850i though.

@theaceplaya: There are a lot of fountains in Paris...

Will they print?

Well, Robert Rodriguez has been mastering crazy CGI since Spy Kids and making cheapo movies great since El Mariachi.

@fyngyrz: Oh great. There goes my application to Starfleet Academy.

I like it - would be handy during workouts - keep my phone in a hermetically sealed container so I don't sweat all over it. I hope this doohicky is waterproof though.

They need to bring it. I don't care what OS, I don't care what the device is, but it better be slicker and have more app support than the iPhone, be more open than Android, and have a slicker IU than WebOS, and not have a ridiculous price / contract barrier to entry as they do now.

I'll take the guy at 5:11 FTW.
