I only said spending 99% of driving on highways and in traffic is dumb. Get out and go for a fun drive once / week and you could cut it down to 96%.

I never said to not drive to work. But you could tilt the 99% awful driving towards fun driving by going driving during lunch or on the weekend. My family enjoy a nice weekend drive.
