I was a Hillary voter as well but I completely agree with what you wrote. If the opposing side does something that you take issue with but then think about how you would feel if your side did the same and the response is different then you do not have a principled stance. Unfortunately this is the case with most

Here is a required disclaimer to ensure my point is taken seriously and not dismissed as the ravings of some misguided Trump supporter: I voted for Hillary. I was not and am not terribly fond of her, but she was the objectively more qualified candidate and a demonstrably better human being. I don’t vote for

The problem is the precedent it sets, and besides if the roles were reversed you’d no doubt decrie it as undemocratic.

You know Hayes is black too right? Or did you just leap to calling me a racist while knowing literally none of the facts?

If you’re a commenter on the internet and you find yourself making blanket statements about all 20-year-old people in the world based off a news report, the time to keep commenting is over. Walk away and delete your account. Like that minute.

This is a very strange and not super healthy way to think about relationships.

I mean, I agree that if you are having screaming fights on a regular basis, yeah, you probably want to find a way out, but sometimes couples argue, it doesn’t make them unhappy. Source: Been happily married for 10 years. Sometimes we argue.

PREACH. I voted for HRC in California even though I didn’t like her. And why didn’t I like her? Because her history shows a willingness to abandon minority communities for political expediency.

Just stop. You’re just trolling at this point. Why are you choosing this hill to die on.

Except for the two Chinese people on the end. How do you know the movie plays into the white savior trope without having watched the movie?

Right. We don’t know. So why the fuck are people upset?

He doesn’t play the “White Savior”. He is one of five heroes - the other four of which are Chinese. The director, a Chinese man, stated quite clearly that he was cast BECAUSE he was white and his being a white man is a PLOT DEVICE in the movie.

OK, that’s fair. But the director, himself Chinese, stated quite clearly that Damon is but one of FIVE heroes (saviors). The other four are Chinese.

My question is are the people calling this whitewashing the same ones defending the black Santa Claus situation from yesterday. Can’t have your cake and eat it too. If I (rightly) defend the whole Black Santa situation from yesterday then how does one complain and bitch about this today? This isn’t even a true story,

So a Chinese director casts five leading characters, one of whom is white rather than Asian. The other four are Chinese.

While this review the Telegraph reports that Swansea are undergoing a review doesn’t necessarily spell doom for Bradley, it’s definitely concerning.

I’m tired of people jumping to conclusions before all the facts are presented.

What about the dude that ran his car into a crowd at Ohio State? Should we do away with cars?

Stop.
