Seriously. Where are the droves of journalists and internet commentariate that are up in arms about power output of the Miata? Here’s the Jalopnik timeline for the 86.

IS is a tight squeeze for a big fella, tho.
I was also going to post the ATS-V, but you’re right. The same would go against the Focus RS, M3 and others of that size.
So I say BMW M5. You can get used ones at any price point you set. If you could get a CTS-V in that price, I’d recommend that. $40K really gives you a fair amount of choices if you’re willing to…
Dude is 6', 300 lbs he wants something bigger than his Fusion. The ATS is tight on the inside.
He indicated on the survey that he wants an automatic.
“doesn’t want a manual for reasons he explained in the post”

What many people don’t know is that the auctions are where many NEW car dealers get most of their used stock. Used cars are a huge money maker for dealers. Massive. My local Volkswagen dealer seems to exist only as a more respectable-seeming front to sell used cars, as their pre-owned lot absolutely dwarfs their new…
I am almost halfway through a 3 year, 30k mile lease on mine.
Agreed. I rented one for a round trip drive from Raleigh to Jacksonville (FL) and had the same complaints.

We settled on a Mazda, but went for a car instead of a…
they really pulled the rug out from over ya, eh Dave?

Correct. But is lacks:
Shit like this is what reminds me how insecure americans are about how and what they drive. The impreza barely sells while the XV crosstek sells like hotcakes, even though the crosstek is is just a lifted Impreza.
I loved this whole thing. The 360 is my favorite car ever and I was so close to getting one, but found out I coudn't stand driving a boring car every day so I could have a fun weekend car. I'm so happy I ended up with the 911... it's almost as fun on the weekends, and you get to keep enjoying it all week long.
Absolutely. I consider it an investment and a worthwhile one.
