No so fast. He appears clearly #distressed and I’m not #impressed with him using social media and avoiding the #press.

Why oh why do they continue to change names? There’s something incredibly powerful to positioning your vehicle relative to others. BMW with it’s X’s hasn’t changed. Lexus with RX. Audi at the Q’s. Even Acura is sticking to the same setup. I think it’s a huge drag on your brand when you change the name constantly.

Oh that is kinda rough. I actually thought _based on the car_ that it could be a case of a gang/drug related hit. I could see that being the preferred car of some pretty sketchy dude. So yes I am profiling a yellow Corvette.

I could see a case of mistaken identity. Where the local drug dealer/pimp/gangster also owns one and this was a hit on him.

They were probably holding out hope for a sales surge when 1) Biden would become President and 2) Own one of these. I’m not surprised this announcement leaked the morning after pundits applaud Hilary’s debate performance.

I think the most interesting thing about mental illness is how little normal people want to acknowledge it. This whole narrative is trying to tie it to a normal person. Potentially because saying “here is a mentally ill person acting like a mentally ill person” isn’t anywhere near as interesting?

If he’d said “Street Racing” instead of “driving fast” would you be happy? Just seems like the standard “Don’t be a street racer dumbos” to me which is applicable and not speed limit related. Especially when you include the prior sentence “I’ve been guilty of driving too fast and recklessly, but I’ve been lucky.”

Aren’t you really hijacking this thread to push an agenda that is at best peripherally related to this event? Or was there some reference to changing speed limits based on this that I missed when reading it?

and particularly how to extend your career. Our two Captains Henrik and Daniel Sedin (they are twins) are 35 and want to play another 4 years.”

Why do you think they called it Scion and not Toyota? And why is this car not a Scion but a Toyota?

This thing screams first car to me. Cheap and a little underpowered but exciting and not boring says “how do we get kids into the Toyota stable and be ready with a Camry or Highlander when they are?”

To me this is the make or break. I generally dislike the Asian preference for fish mouths but this one looks like a mad fish.

“ get to the us” missed some capitalization there. Doesn’t the Miata really start at $25K in US thuse making it $15K if it’s $10k less?

“Tesla says the “Model X is the SUV uncompromised.” It’s possible that in removing the compromise from an SUV, they have inadvertently made a minivan.” - man that was so logical it made my head hurt.

Right the headline is a bit confusing while the body of the article states it better.

I feel like this is completely back to front though. Even when hybrids are at their most popular Prius pretty much crushed any competition. Part of that was status: Everyone knew what a Prius was so it screamed “Hybrid” to all. The second was many initial hybrids were sedans and compacts converted. Prius made many

Well the rally driver understands that fans pay for his job and they line the side of the route making a bad error deadly. So you’re not being very logical or empathetic.

Yeah but these cars are so unreliable that, even though it’s covered under warranty, it’s a huge pain in the toosh to regularly visit a dealership multiple times during the first 3 years of ownership. In addition, some of the issues are complicated or intermittent so they don’t get fixed the first time or don’t stay

The way the surrounding motorists all bail in under 7 seconds is worthy of mention.

1) Car completely creates new car category single handedly (hybrids) 2) Multiple competitors try and knock it off perch but each year it outsells all the competition like crazy embarrassing amounts 3) Jalopnik commentator nevertheless knows more about design than Toyota and if Toyota only listened to him they could
