Works for Uncle Rico

The shot in the heading of the article is how NOT to do it. A slight head tilt always helps. Also, I've found that its good to find your good side. You might not think it makes sense - but most people DEFINITELY have a better side. I flipped thru pics of myself and would find ones that I thought didnt even look

Interesting. I didnt know they marked a 'milk frother' which is just a french press. I've tried it both ways and I REALLY feel strongly that pumping first and microwaving second gives better results. The microwaving expands the bubbles that you generating by pumping the frother, and it also seems to sorta 'freeze'

I'll post again after they come by. They actually had to cancel appt due to weather (they gotta go up on the roof to evaluate). I'll let you know.

I make myself a cappuccino every morning - I've used these cheap frothers, but what I find works MUCH better is a french press. Put some milk in the french press, quickly pump it a bunch of times and it will quickly froth up nicely much better and faster than with a frother, and AFTER you've done that - microwave

Interesting stuff, I dont have much a response to alot of it - you sound pretty informed on the topics. The only thing I'll say is with regards to oil being used to manufacture certain things... its sort of just a drop in the barrel (pun intended) as opposed to machines that consume it. I'm sure the oil it takes to

Looks like you skipped the step of browning the onion. The onion will cook much slower than an egg so you gotta precook it a bit. Also looks like you used some top slices, probably should stick to slices only from the equator of the onion.

Time to update your tetanus shots!

The market has had hold of Solar panels for a couple dozen years and has still failed to produce it viably - I think its because we've relied on good ole' faithful oil and fossil fuels which have no upfront investment. They do indeed have a 40-50 year lifespan, and in my part of the country (NY ... not Arizona) with

If someone is doing that in a way that you notice... they are doing it wrong. Its not an imitation. Its about matching the other person's demeanor and style. If your interviewer is relaxed and leaning forward, and you are rigid and sitting back in your seat ... the difference in posture is subconsciously

I know they are significantly more effecient, but its still burning gas.

I'm a daily Lifehacker, hardly a troll - take a look at my profile and see my commenting. I wont get into it - but it goes without saying - you drive on roads, you're electricity is delivered to you thru powerlines spanning across the country thru public and private properties, police protect you, court systems

The absolute best tip for body language... mimic the other person. Unless they are overly casual and sitting back in their chair. It works surprisingly well.

True a limp handshake can make you look limp.... but dont overcompensate. Bone crushing handshakes are obnoxious and especially when done to someone who is your superior it comes across as you are trying to make a power-move. Match the other person's handshake. I'm so tired of burly men squeezing my hand like they

As a new homeowner, I'd love to get into some energy efficiency stuff - looking at that solar panel, I'm curious what if any savings someone could get out of it. The cost of running a cell phone charger - what he return actually is on the $150 device. Also - one thing super counter intuitive is that this thing

Well there is no way their gas bill remained literally the same - maybe there was a net savings. But unless some other factor is involved that made them reduce gas usage elsewhere - that hot water heater burning gas all throughout the day - is definitely consuming gas and unless you cook ALOT its going to be the

I use X10 just as a lamp switch also for christmas lights. Works just fine and significantly cheaper than insteon. Maybe if you want to install some new system throughout your home - maybe insteon is 'better' for some reason. But x10 works - at least for the simple tasks I've assigned it to - so I aint gonna fix

You lost me at "I dont think we should be paying income tax in the first place". Lol. Unless you live in some cabin in the woods, I'm not sure I get it.

Yeah let me save some other people the time I just wasted downloading and installing. This is a trial version for a 'limited time'.
