I avoid Redbox because if I ever get anything from there, it seems there’s about a 80% chance that someone has stolen the disk. Then I have to call, wait on hold, explain what happened, and then get a refund 5 days later.

I sincerely wished we had a Family Video around these parts.

There is something to be said about having the physical media. Be it video, music, game.

Don’t get me wrong, all of the streaming options are terrific. However, having an actual physical copy means you’re not at someone else’s mercy. As long as the media holds up, and there is a means to play it... you’re golden.

No team ever will get the coverage that LeBron gets, purely because he’s arguably the best basketball player to ever walk the earth. On top of that, he’s quite quotable.

Now, comparing them to say, any other team, yeah, there’s where your argument is. The Lakers, Celtics, and Knicks will always get coverage due to

I think A-Rod the broadcaster will do a massive shift on the view of A-Rod the ballplayer. I’m not sure if it’ll be enough to put him in the Hall, but it certainly will improve his chances.

Mine was a very, very slow “Dream shake”. It was surprisingly effective for a 6' fat kid.

Julio didn’t care where he was, as long as he could play baseball. He was productive in the MLB until the age of 48. He played in Korea, Japan, Mexico... I think if you start playing a game at a field there’s at least a 10% chance that Julio will show up to play.

On top of all of that, he very well may even be OLDER

Technically the Wizards, but I don’t think that anyone told them they actually made the playoffs.

I’d have to go with the Hawks as well. They were actively purging anything with a pulse during the season (eg, Bellini and Ilyasova) to drive themselves further into the hole.

They finished the season with two “seasoned”

I’m sure 75% of her conversations about Ginobili revolve around the fact that he’s stolen his roster spot from a nice real American like Danny Ferry back in 2003.

Poor poor Shaquille O’Neal. :/

The 2.8 V6 was not much better, it went with 102 hp and 145 lb/ft tq from 1982-1984. I’d almost argue that the Duke was the better engine choice due to gas mileage and durability plus similar performance.

I agree, I didn’t like the Billy Donovon hire... and I still don’t.

He seems like a “forced system” coach, that has never quite figured out a system other than “Let Russ do whatever he wants”.

If he would have been able to turn Melo into a 6th man, then they’d be much better off than they are right now.

He would just roll that one ball of his all rain delay long.

Bud Light provided the following data to Adweek in mid-January to show the effect of “Dilly Dilly” on certain brand metrics:

I would love to see an arena actually do that for a NBA game.

Complete silence, and when the opposing player is just about to release his shot they have Joe Flaherty yell out “You suck, you jackass!”.

BABA BOOEY!

He looks like Tom Hanks’ stunt double from the end of “Philadelphia”.

In the lyrics of the song, Lil’ Dicky does not sing nor say the word. All of the use of the word is done by Chris Brown.

Because that is the context? If you read the headline, it literally says they are “Chanting”. You watch the video, and they are “Singing along to a song”.

You look at the related articles, and here are the headlines:

“Terrelle Pryor Says Heckler Called Him The N-Word”

From the title, I thought they were taunting black people. I mean, “CHANTING”, really?

It turns out they were singing along to a song.

I’m sorry, but this is pure clickbait.

Context is huge, I’m sorry. They’re not calling someone it, not even trying to use it to refer to someone they like.

They are singing along to a
