It might be scorching - maybe - for about 5-10 minutes on the events. Then the rest will be fluff jokes. SNL/Weekend Update isn't hard hitting satire or critical comedy. It's mostly lazy mass appeal humor. No one should expect anything more out of this show or any other regular episode.
