Yeah I liked the look of it in 2007 c30 but I couldn't for the life of me justify it on the practical commuter angle. It wasn't like ford didn't have several alternative power plants to choose from. For the price it was in hybrid territory and I ended up with a civic hybrid as a daily driver.

the avionics stack in your average commercial cockpit runs from the low hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions. An updated set of manuals for the aircraft is hundreds. As a replacement for other electronic flight management systems the ipad is the cheapest component in the whole system by far.

well, it's using a narrow aperture, relatively fast shutter and a low iso. wouldn't surprise me if it also had a polarization filter in fornt of the lens as well.

There are plenty of overhead monorails Wuppertal Schwebebahn style in Japan. I particulary like the one in fujisawa which threads through a tunnel in the mountain.

It's huge, and it's heavy, and while wears that weight quite well it's about 300 pounds heavier than my 330ci which is not a light car.

one would expect the range to be well under 100 miles at top speed. probably some diesels (maybe 335d) can double that.
