Yeah, my view of Pratt is... mixed. But at the time they signed these contracts, he was arguably the biggest star in the world. He’d just had Guardians and the Lego Movie and was probably the most bankable actor on the planet. It’s not a surprise that he got a bigger payday than anyone else on that movie.

Did you even read the article? He did go to bat for her and it made a difference. And Chris Pratt was a much much bigger draw than Bryce. Still is. There is no reason he shouldn’t have been paid more than her.

Why aren’t white people supposed to be talking about this? I’m really asking-I keep seeing allusions to this and I don’t understand why something that happened on the Oscars is off limits to white people, who are mainly the people who watch/attend the Oscars.

Yep, they were slow out of the box, but really were clicking by cancelation. Subsequent reboots have never gotten close to their second season.

A very real possibility is that the virus mutates into something that kills more slowly. The rule for successful viruses is not “don’t burn your bridges” i.e. kill the host, it’s “don’t burn your bridges before you’ve crossed them”.
