Here’s the thing; I care about the IMPORTANT things he’s screwing up. Most liberals care about the fact that he’s a meanie who says mean things, so much so that the IMPORTANT things he’s screwing up barely make headlines.

Africa is a continent; any nations on that continent that are predominately populated by the educated and industrious we should support open immigration from. Any “shitholes” we should avoid.
“immigrants are great for the economy,” as a blanket statement is absolutely not a fact. Immigrants from educated, developed parts of the world who are healthy and eager to work are great for the economy.
Immigrants from some parts of Africa likely would be economically valuable. It’s an entire continent, though, with plenty of “shitholes.” As for the Caribbean in general, it also depends on from where, and Haiti specifically not so much.
What was mentioned was Haiti, El Salvador and some African nations. It likely depends on which African nations, but you’re too focused on the semantics of what he said and not the sentiment.
No one is implying that Trump doesn’t say stupid things, and the US should be open to immigration with any place that can primarily offer educated and capable workers.
Just stating practical facts. The idea that third world conditions would produce a lot of sickly people shouldn’t be such a stunning revelation for you.
I’m sorry, but you sound extremely agitated and thus biased in regard to this topic.
I think this site and everyone here is guilty of this kind of thing.
I agree with you that there’s no overall benefit to open immigration with third world nations.
That’s an anecdote.
Developed nations are more likely to produce people with useful skills. While it’s not a person’s fault that they were born in a “shithole,” it does affect their desirability as potential citizens. Trump apparently doesn’t view immigration as charity for the less fortunate; he views it as a calculated means of…
Nice! I’ve beaten BB and DS3 on PS4 and have always wanted to go back and play the originals, but I couldn’t justify it with my limited free time and so many newer games. Now that I can do it at work on a handheld, it’s time.
Again, if it were called an international drivers license and was issued under the guise of permitting you to drive in other countries, then sure, I’d expect it to work in Germany. A passport is literally issued under the guise of being recognized by other countries, and legally permitting you to travel to them.
Of course there could be other reasons beyond the scope of your passport that would prevent your from traveling, and you should always check up on them before traveling. There shouldn’t be issues with your actual passport, however, that aren’t properly communicated by the people issuing them.
Appeal to tradition or the status quo is a fallacy, not a valid point. Misleading or lazy information on a very important official document is objectively a problem.
A driver’s license isn’t issued to allow you to drive in another country; there’s no reason to assume it would let you. A passport is literally issued as a license to travel, and it’s expiration date is when it no longer serves that purpose. Having the expiration date represent anything else is completely missing the…
Competent communication on the actual document. Like I said, for the vast majority of the population a passport is ONLY used for travel. Any “expiration” date on the document should be in reference to that, and if it’s not it should be made clear that it’s not.
I’m already where I’m supposed to be, and where everyone else should be. If literally everyone else in this thread is lost then this is just a dumb community (wouldn’t that be shocking).
The date on your passport is a situational expiration date, and is a completely obtuse misnomer that shouldn’t be provided without further explanation, because it’s misleading.
