    Why in the world didn't MS put a Cablecard slot in this thing and just let it decode and record a TV signal? They already have a nice TV interface in the Windows Media Center software. I would HAPPILY pay a price premium for that product, not to mention that I would then be buying their games. Such a missed

    For fans, sure (I own it). If you are actually trying to get into Rush for the first time though, why not start with their best work?

    Good GTG. The short version would be to try anything up to Signals and ignore everything after that. Also, Exit Stage Left is an incredible live album that gives you a pretty good idea of their work through Moving Pictures.

    I would say critically unappreciated instead of cult band. From 2112 onwards Rush was one of the most successful touring bands ever. They just weren't popular with rock critics…or girls.
