Wow! Aston Martin only charges about $300 more to remove the timing chain than Nissan said it would cost to replace mine on my 2007 Nissan Quest. They claimed the only way to replace the timing chain was to drop the engine. Luckily, I found out they were liars and replaced a $45 crankshaft position sensor instead.
I think there are people that see cruise control differently because of the terrain they drive on. For flat roads, cruise control is great because it does maintain speed, but for the same reason it is bad on hilly roads.
Has this company ever heard of “tire shine”. Nothing makes a concept car look worse than dirty tires... oh wait, maybe this car looks bad enough to cover up for the tires.
I am in the auto industry and get to do something not many automative engineers get to do... drive cars. The cars (and trucks, SUVs, CUVs, etc.) I drive can be anything from 18 months before they are available for sale to the public to production vehicles that are making a rolling change.
Does it have 4 Wheel Steering? My brother had a ‘90 in white (I think it looked better in white) that had 4WS and was a blast to drive! The front and back wheels would turn together at higher speeds to make lane changes quicker. At lower speeds, the rear wheels would turn the reverse direction from the front. I think…
They were probably forced to upgrade to Windows 10 before they wanted to and then Windows 10 didn’t work well with their wireless card drivers. Smooth move NFL, always check for updated drivers before a big game!
I think one of the major reasons this worked was because it was in the United States. At the time, most cars in the U.S. were only available with two brake lights that were also turn signals. Due to this double duty, a single brake light failure could easily cause an accident when the other brake light was turned into…
Sweet, I finally found out where that leak was coming from!
This echos my sentments exactly, right down to the HGTV loving wife...
I think it allows for a cleaner look, like the car has one piece of glass from A-pillar to C-pillar (or D-pillar). At one time, it must have looked futuristic. Now that future is the present and our present selves are asking our past selves, why?
I bought my 2013 VW Golf R in November 2012 (3 years and 2 months ago) and just passed over 65,000 miles. I have a 40 mile commute, one-way, to work, plus driving to and from a test facility 7 miles from my office.
Good question. I think a more important question is how do the rear occupants exit the vehicle when it would happen to roll over? Do they have explosive charges like the Mercedes SLS?
In 1999, I paid 67.9 cents a gallon for regular unleaded gas, the lowest I ever paid. After that, I thought gas would never be that low again, especially after pay more than $4 a gallon a couple summers ago.
Depending on the service department, your “Parts and service” comment is a broad generalization that cannot possibly be true of all dealerships. I say this because I have put my trust in dealerships before and they have become stealerships in the service department specifically. After all of the lying and deceit to…
My VW only has voice commands for phone calls and 9 times out of 10 the commands work perfectly. The rest of the time, it is usually my fault because I’m... get this... driving. I pause for too long or concentrate on the primary task of driving and the partial command I give will be misunderstood. But, that’s OK,…
It not like they took after the Japanese manufacturers with the Subuaru Impreza WRX STi Spec C type RA-R.
They have AMG S now? What happened to the AMG Black Edition? I bet they still have it and now you can buy an AMG S Black... or is it AMG Black S... or S Black AMG... where am I?
