Why should this come with even a hint of incredulity? All of Failbetter’s games have quite a bit of romance and implied romantic interludes (often more than implied). Nope. In fact, I go out of my way to purchase second-hand for a significant discount. I actually prefer repairing my own consoles, so getting a “broken” one on the cheap is the best of both worlds.
