Well, just looking at the numbers, the XBox 360 had a theoretical maximum processing power of 115.2 GFLOPS, whereas the XBox One has a maximum of 1310 GFLOPS. That sounds about right to me.

Yeah, I imagine a lot comes down to emulator optimization. There’s probably a fair amount of fudge-room attached to that 8x figure.

I remember reading somewhere, long ago when I actually frequented sites devoted to emulation, that to emulate any piece of hardware requires roughly 8 times the original specifications (mostly as it pertains to FLOPS, not necessarily the amount of memory or Hz) to do properly.
