@N@tedog: Yeah, I saw that there was a no-contract price too... either way, it doesn't seem to offer much beyond a discounted price for a MiFi, but because it's iPad on Verizon they're making it sound like a much bigger deal.

Am I missing something, or is Verizon just selling the wifi version plus a $130 MiFi addon? You can get a MiFi online for free with a 2-year contract, so it looks like they're just bundling and charging $130 for skipping the contract.

@QMurphy: No, the TSA is not the babysitter to protect us from generalized "danger" on flights. It exists to "stop terrorism." And at best, it only directs terrorists to try new methods, either on the plane or elsewhere.
