@Quick Draw: Where is the WGA? The World Canadian League!!!

@wickedcupofjoe: whoops...just realized you meant "temporarily installing fonts"...perhaps I should actually read type instead of looking at it :)

@wickedcupofjoe: There is an option to download an installible binary. I installed it on my computer at work...created a start menu folder and everything.

yes yes and yes! I've been looking for something like this for a while now!

This seems pretty cool. Also, as far as I know, this is the first attempt to basically offer "legal copyrighted material torrenting." I actually applaud NBC for giving it a go. Especially since Fox should be next in line (if we're sticking with the idea that this is like Hulu.)

@KStrike155: The screen shot's pixelization looks more like jpeg compression than sub-HD streaming video to me. My $.02 on that.

requires .NET 3.5? Wow. Can't install it on my work computer then. The IT fellas aren't too keen on any non-approved apps, let alone ones that require an install of a new .NET.

BORKED!!!

@SchaubOnMyKnob: Fail. Strawberry played on Burns' softball team with Homer; not the Isotopes.

There's a program called CatDV, www. squarebox .com, that is a high end professional cataloging program. It actually adds metadata to files so the information is transferable. It's a little pricey for me right now though.

@xlerate: Hmm...It doesn't want to install on my work computer. I guess I'll try it at home.

I'm guessing I'll need to do my own testing, but, here's what I'd like to know about it-

vote: filezilla portable!!!

@ddthesm: Traditional sales isn't the only difference between Meijer and WallyWorld. In my experience Meijer's are much cleaner, have more name brand items (ie I can buy Tim's for my work that last 3 years versus buying a crappy pair of boots at 1/3rd the price yearly) and are better laid out, imo.
