100% Devil’s advovate here. But, is there any evidence that therapy can change who you feel you are attracted to? If so, doesn’t that fly in the face of the conversation around gay/lesbian/bi/etc. being an ingrained trait that can’t be changed? Why would it be any different for “MAPs”?

I carry a bushcraft knives with a five inch blade. This allows me to carry it anywhere I go. I am only aggressive when I have if someone threatens me. See mature people can be in possession of a deadly weapon and not be a threat to anyone that isn't a threat to them.

Seeing a guy strapped in the cereal aisle of the grocery story made me sick to my stomach, but a person can bring a gun pretty much anywhere in this country.  You can’t assume it’s an act of aggression, despite what common sense and your instincts tell you.

I do not believe those are similar struggles at all. Someone suffering from substance abuse is not the same as wanting to harm a child. I don’t know what to tell you if you can’t see that. I hope you are never around children.

I think a better use of one’s time would be spent helping victims. I try to be open minded & I get that Allyn Walker is saying these people don't want to hurt kids but I just don’t think it should be a struggle to not harm children, sorry.
