Then why are you so defensive about his terrible campaign? I love Hillary but her campaign in 2008 wasn’t very good. It’s okay to admit it.

Why can’t you just accept that your candidate couldn’t convince enough people to vote for him? He ran a bad campaign and people weren’t swayed. He lost by 3.5 mil votes, way more than Hillary lost by in ‘08.
Yeah, you’re right. Racism is totally over and a black man definitely faced fewer societal obstacles than a white man. You’re trollin’ so hard.
People made the same argument in ‘08 and Hillary was defeated quite soundly by Barack Obama. Maybe Bernie’s just a shitty candidate who not enough people liked. Occam’s Razor, bro.
Right, the voters are. And they did.
It also allows non-party members to sabotage the process to choose a weaker nominee.
That’s an insane logical extreme and totally irrelevant to our system and the conversation at hand. I’m not a huge fan of only having two parties, but closed primaries for them don’t bother me one bit. Independents are welcome to organize their own system and build their own structure that suits them. Open primaries…
I don’t understand the argument against closed primaries. Caucuses are far more un-democratic and isn’t it logical for members of a political party to choose their own nominee? Anyone is free to register for whatever party they would like to have a voice in.
...Do you not understand that it is possible to read a book, understand an author’s thesis, and still disagree with it or interpret the story in your own way? Maybe it’s you who missed “critical reading”.
The show isn’t “falling apart”, actors are leaving. It’s been a year, it’s a standard length of time for a Broadway contract. I hate this idea that as soon as the original cast leaves, the show has somehow lost something. I’m sure the replacements will be just as incredible and will bring something new to the piece. I…
Literally everybody acting like the super delegates not officially voting until the convention means Bernie has a chance is a fucking moron. Why is it that we were fine with Obama being the presumptive nominee with a delegate count that included super delegates, but all of a sudden the rules are different when it’s a…
One of her best speeches of the campaign, IMO. I’m so, so ready for Madame President.
1) How many people were in the room is irrelevant. It’s how many DELEGATES were there. Crowds don’t count, so the fact that someone feels it is important to mention them indicates that either they don’t get how these things work or they do but feel the need to pump up their point with irrelevant data.
2) The delegates…
This is absurd and really poor sportsmanship on her part to say. Who exactly is she implying shouldn’t have been nominated? Danielle Brooks outshone Hudson by quite a bit the night that I saw the show, I can’t find fault in the nominators choosing her.
As someone with depression who has attempted suicide more than once...Bernie’s crack on mental illness really turned me off. Been a fan of his for years but...ooof. Really went for the cheap laugh on that one.
